Inside the casing, the battery contains chemical components that undergo a chemical reaction to produce electrical energy.

There are various types of dry batteries available on the market, including alkaline, zinc-carbon, and lithium batteries. Alkaline batteries are the most common and widely used type. They provide a stable voltage output over their lifespan and offer good performance in a wide range of temperatures. Zinc-carbon batteries are an older and less expensive option, but they have a shorter lifespan and lower energy density compared to alkaline batteries.
